With a background in Human Resources, communications, community engagement, and construction, Rachel Good brings a diverse range of experience to Javen Construction. She supports the company’s employees through recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement, while also helping foster strong relationships within the Western New York community.

Rachel holds bachelor’s degrees in Art History and Film Studies from the University at Buffalo, along with a minor in English and a certificate in Journalism. She is also Procore Certified in Project Management.

Outside of work, Rachel is actively involved in the Western New York community and enjoys supporting local arts, cultural, and nonprofit organizations. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating opportunities that make a positive impact in the community.

Nicole graduated with honors from Ithaca College in 2021 and has spent the years that followed working a myriad of recruitment, HR, and management positions down in the greater NYC area. She has now returned upstate and recently joined the Javen team in Buffalo as Project Coordinator.

Here, she will utilize her experience in data entry and office management, as well as her strong work ethic and natural aptitude for software administration, to maintain adequate documentation and otherwise work closely with project managers to facilitate the progression of each construction project from start to finish.

Brendan is a seasoned construction project manager and estimator with extensive experience in new construction, renovation, and adaptive reuse projects. ranging in cost from $1M-$5M. Brendan brings to Javen a 20+ year career in the construction industry, managing a variety of roles, responsibilities, and duties throughout his tenure.

In addition to his accomplishments as a construction project manager, Brendan is also a Certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) agent and a Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP). Brendan had managed and overseen certification for residential, commercial, and hospitality LEED Certified projects and provided commissioning agent services for LEED projects as part of certification project. Brendan also holds a Political Science degree from University of Lynchburg.

Josue graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Arts and Science, concentrating in Civil Engineering and Business Management and minoring in Environmental Studies. He joined Javen in late 2021.

As a project manager, Josue has risen thru the ranks of Javen and delivered numerous projects to a variety of clients. He continues to deliver projects with tight schedules, and rigid deadlines. He also has a proven track records of delivering projects with complicated and detailed scopes of work, always going the extra length to ensure a project is successfully completed for the client(s). His positive outlook, and hard work to understand all the details of his projects is helping to develop Josue into ever growing, larger, and more complicated projects.

True to the family tradition, this fourth-generation contractor gained experience by working in the field to learn the trade. Adding on that experience, Brendan has managed a wide array of new-build and renovation projects in both the public and private markets and offers experience in key sectors such as hospitals, office parks, and university/public school systems. A Buffalo resident, Brendan joined the firm in 2008 after graduating in 2004 from SUNY University at Buffalo and working several years for a Buffalo general contractor. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management Information Systems and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society.

As a principal of the firm, Brendan will continue working to foster long-lasting relationships with clients and architects in Erie and the surrounding counties by consistently delivering our clients with quality projects of the highest standards in a safe and ethical manner. Clients such as Roswell Park, LiRo Engineering, Foit-Albert Associates, Stieglitz Snyder Architecture, and Campus Construction Management can attest to his ability to drive fast-tracked projects, his keen eye for detail and his creative problem-solving. Brendan will oversee Javen Construction’s Buffalo area projects and resources remaining dedicated to Javen’s fundamental ideals. Having served the local construction community as a council member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Western New York Region from 2009 – 2014, Brendan is keenly focused on growing Javen Construction’s presence in the Buffalo marketplace.
