Safety and Training

Safety is of paramount importance for our employees, our clients, our subcontractors, and our bottom line. This commitment is reflected in our safety MOD rate which is consistently under 1.0. Our project managers and field personnel work hard to promote a culture of safety through their day to day actions and enforce our safety policy and safety program. They hold pre-construction meetings with subcontractors to discuss and strategize how to best approach a given project in a safe and efficient manner.

All Javen employees have been through the 10-hour OSHA safety training and the project managers and superintendents have received 30-hour OSHA cards. We educate field personnel on an ongoing basis via weekly ‘Toolbox Talks’ and we contract with a private safety consultation firm that performs weekly jobsite inspections, keeps employee forklift/boomlift certifications up to date, and is available 24X7 for any safety related issue.
