Having grown up in and around a construction family, Jim Spitz and his son Steve have always known the value of dedication and hard work. Wanting to join the growing merit-shop movement, Jim and Steve founded Javen in 1982 using a combination of their names (James and Steven) to give the new company its name. Sister Tracy, and later Steve’s sons, Jeff and Brendon, joined the family legacy adding to the company’s tradition of superior workmanship.

Javen’s commitment to honesty, quality, and client satisfaction continues to be the company’s core focus.
